Pelicans are ubiquitous in Florida so it is hard to avoid them as a painting subject, so here they are waddling around on some fisherman's dock. Pelicans Fl. 2004.JPG

chickadees abound everywhere the cottage so from time to time I put extra food in the feeder nd take many photographs trying to get a decent reference. They move so quickly it is not as easy as it sounds! They do have lots of characters so it's fun to paint them.
