Peter Marsh Artist
PERCEPTIONS OF REALITY
A naked call occurs when traders take infinite risk by buying and selling stock they do not actually own. I leave the rest to you to figure out.
This painting sticks in my mind as a marker on the way to where I am today in terms of dealing with our visual vocabulary and how our minds deal with the perception of reality. The image is an abstraction and not really at the 'original stage' but promises in a way what is to come, with its single brushstrokes and unusual expression of the medium. 1993.
